I just filed my 2006 tax return. Nyah nyah. Note: This is an excellent defense against Rob and my ever getting married. Last year he had to get an extension for his taxes. I can’t begin to imagine what it would be like to actually combine our finances. (Shudder.)

Home heat home
While reading an article advising people to stock up in preparation for a possible flu pandemic, I thought, “Ooh, wouldn’t that be nice, to be hunkered down at home with Rob and Isis, bottles of Gatorade and boxes of Kleenex.” It would help ensure my house doesn’t burn down anyway. I think that means he liked it. Especially since he wanted to take the doggy bagContinue reading “Hot stuff”
Element of surprise
Why do I think it’s necessary for birthday/Christmas presents to be a surprise? Several weeks ago, Rob saw a book in a used bookstore that he wasn’t sure if he owned. He went home and discovered he did not and he wanted it. Wouldn’t it be neat to get it for him for Christmas, IContinue reading “Element of surprise”
Feeling guilty…
For asking Rob to pick me up some Teriyaki on his way home. Because 1) I’m worried about his driving a little hatchback on the scary ice without a cell phone and 2) the folks at Oishii went to work today and I didn’t.
