After 14 springs in Washington state, I guess I don’t have to go to the tulip fields every April. Fortunately, Mia and I saw some color in the beds along Mount Vernon’s newish Skagit River Walk.
I couldn’t quite get Mia, me, and the Tulips in the same shot.

One summer, my mom visited and we drove to Sequim to see the lavender. Rob said, “You girls sure like looking at fields of flowers!”

We don’t know if spring flowers are the best or if it is just that we have had no flowers for so many months.
