I won’t link to Time Magazine’s offensive, biased, and badly reported article about pit bulls, but instead offer this rebuttal.
And these pictures of Miss Maddie, available at the Humane Society of Skagit Valley. Maddie had a home for a year and then her family moved away and didn’t take her. Who could leave behind a Maddie?

ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Ohhhhh don’t even get me started on Time Magazine’s article! LOL Maddie is so gorgeous 🙂
It’s ridiculous how often “vicious pit bull attacks” are reported when quite often, the dog in question isn’t even a pit at all.
Exactly. Dog bite reports are highly unreliable.
So sad to hear of this happening 😦
She’s lovely
I can’t imagine anyone taking anything seriously from Time magazine any more. They have squandered any credibility they once might have happened. More and more communities are getting rid of BSL as facts are presented to the public.
The funny thing is, I have an article torn out of the magazine from last year called “The Softer Side of Pit Bulls.” I have no idea where this column came from.
We just have to keep speaking the truth in direct contrast to the stuff that is cut and pasted over and over
Time Magazine? Really? That’s disappointing. I’m not even going to go read it.
I don’t know if you read Elka’s Almanac, but she had a really nice and well thought out response to the article.
I’ll check it out.
