Forest Poodles challenged me to a 5-day dog photo challenge, and I accepted, deciding to challenge myself to get a few more pics of my pups using a nice DSLR camera, instead of relying on my phone. Since things are slow at work this time of year, I’ve hardly used my good camera at all for what feels like months.
Here are the highlights.

All are very nice and capture lots of lovely and fun moments. I especially love the one on the bottom left. Lots of movement and expression in that one, which is very nice.
Thanks! Leo gives good face, sometimes. Other times, he gives me “old man face.”
Those are some real nice photos. Mom is the opposite, she rarely uses her phone cam, and feels naked if she leaves home without the good cam.
Good for her. I find it very heavy!
Sometimes I get a little lazy and decide to leave the camera at home and I almost always regret it. You captured some great images and moments!
Great pictures! My mom uses both her camera and her phone to take pictures.
You’ve got some great shots there. I am looking at upgrading cameras myself. Still researching.
I wish my dogs enjoyed being photographed like this. They look like I am mistreating them or they just hide.
LOL! I just discovered that Mia hates the clicking of my DSLR as much as she hates other noises. She kept getting up and leaving the room when I first started shooting. Maybe that’s why I only have cell-phone pics of her.
Great pics! I can be lazy about not getting out my DSLR and just going w/ the always-handy phone, but it always ends up being worth the effort. The pics are so much better, at least for me and my phone!
Lovely photos! Where’s all the rainy day photos lol?
I don’t want to get the camera wet! But you see Leo’s muddy belly, right?
Adorable dog!!! Very beautiful pictures.
