Fall fell pretty hard this week, but before the rains, Mia and I discovered a newish tulip statue in Mount Vernon. I would have loved to get a selfie with her, but as it was, I had to lie on the ground to get the shots of her close to the statue.

At least she is a good sized dog, I would look like a dot on the photo probably! They should rename that place tulip town!
There is a place called Tulip Town in Mount Vernon, Wash. We have a Tulip Festival every April.

What a fun discovery! I hate when it’s impossible to get a good selfie with your pup in front of something cool. Barley and I have this struggle a lot.

In this case, it was just my phone. I do have a DSLR and if I’d really planned ahead, I would have brought it and a tripod. Maybe next time.
