I love all my dogs equally

Mia fountain
Looking at my Instagram feed last week, I realized with shame that it had been a while since I posted a picture of Leo. It’s not that Mia is more beautiful or more photogenic than Leo, just that Rob had been taking Mia to work a lot. He takes her on long walks during his lunch and practices with his new cameras, and therefore we wind up with lots of beautiful pictures of her.

That night I took a few phone pics of Leo at the Bad Dog Park, which was strangely empty. Everyone must have defected to the new Best Dog Park, so I’ll take the kids there tonight. Here he is, actually lying down at the park because there was no one else to play with.

  1. I often have the realization that I have a billion pictures of Barley and very few of Soth, but Barley goes on adventures with me and Soth is a typical cat spending a lot of time sleeping (but still being very cute), so there are more photo ops with Barley. I’m sure Soth wishes I wouldn’t have those realization because then I start sticking the camera in his face to make up for the lack of pictures and he hates to have his naps interrupted liked that 🙂

  2. I do that sometimes, too where I post more photos of one than the other. Zoe doesn’t like the camera as much as Phoenix so I try not to bug her about it.

  3. Isn’t it funny that you’d worry about that? Obviously Leo and Mia don’t care who has more pictures on Instagram. But we do worry about those things don’t we?

    I’ve done the same thing.

Oh, and of course Leo is as handsome as ever. 🙂

  4. I know what you mean. Luke seems to be featured more on my blog and social media simply because he poses better for photos, not because I favor him!
Leo is such a good looking dog!

    1. Thank you. I need to take Leo some interesting places to model… I have a new lens too, but photos in the same old backyard get pretty old.

  5. I know how you feel!!
I love all my Turtles equally BUT I probably posted a lot of Papoe more than the others as she is more photogenic, but I try my best to share them equally.
