Leo has known this little girl since he was a puppy. When he sees her, he runs right up to her wheelchair and she pats him on the head like there’s no tomorrow. Here, he’s letting her use him as a pillow.
This lovely lady’s daughter saw Mia one day at Rob’s work. She invited us to visit her 90-year-old mother, whose German shepherd had been one of the great joys of her life … 40 years ago! We were happy to oblige.

I believe all dogs have that therapy heart in them. Great photos
Love these stories! The pictures make me smile and well up at the same time.
Awe! That’s so sweet!
This is so wonderful. Good for Mia and Leo for being gentle ambassadors – I know how much my dogs comfort me!
Very sweet. Mr. N loves visiting people too.
I know that when we visit the nursing home, it really brightens up a lot of people’s days. I love hearing stories about dogs that people loved in the past. One lady always tells us about her circus dog that she used to have named Daisy. 🙂
I know Blueberry wouldn’t enjoy being a therapy dog, but for the people that she does choose to bestow her affection on, she really brightens their day. All dogs have a certain amount of therapy in them, don’t they? 🙂
