Leo has a funny way of running around with a bone in his mouth, looking for a place to hide it, before finally giving up, and plopping down next to Mia to eat it.
Here I’ve given them each a beef center bone from Jones Natural Chews:
And now… the winner of the Jones Natural Chews Canine Christmas Crunchers stocking …

Dogs habits with special treats are so telling…. and fun!
It’s funny the places they “bury” things. It is usually an epic failure here! ☺
Anything Jones is always tasty! That is one lucky winner!
That reminds me so of our dog Tino. He would do the same thing, wander around looking for the ‘right’ spot. He buried many of them – bones and toys, I still find some buried in our yard even though he’s been gone over 4 years now.
Love seeing where Kilo is going to hide his next treat.
Occasionally Pug will run to another room to eat his treat away from me. Like I want the darn thing!
Oh gosh… memories of our beagle and how she would do that too! Walk around looking for the perfect place. She’d often “bury” things in the sofa – pushing imaginary dirt over it with her face. Such a nut. Congrats to the winner!!!
The manner in which dogs determine what to hide and where completely baffles my mind.
I love watching the little quirks and habits that individual dogs have. 🙂
I have never seen a dog actually do that. How funny. My pig dogs eat it as quickly as possible, hoping they can steal what’s left of the other dog’s treat.
It’s such a cliche! I’m like, Really, Leo? Burying a bone?
So cute- we are absolutely thrilled to be the winner of the Jones Christmas Cruncher stocking! Bear and Scooter say whoooo hoooo!
